Mejis County

Never had much chance to go up Mejis way, so I ain’t got much to offer. I do know that they’re a little more… uh, multicultural up there, what with the mountains and all. Whole bunch o’ Kish, Nephilim, muties and Umbra occupying that valley and the mountains around it, in addition to the usual mess o’ humanity in Mejis proper. Makes for an interestin’ mix… if not an entirely safe one, so I hear.

There is one thing that may be o’ interest to any o’ you reading types, though: rumour has it that one o’ the muties up there – fella by the name o’ Jeremiah – has been around longer’n damn near anyone else. No one knows quite how old he is, but there’s some say he remembers The Cataclysm – though only the man Jesus knows how long ago that was. In any case, he’s also one o’ the few people left who can read the Old Letters, a skill that may prove o’ some use out in the Waste.
